Sherlock Holmes in Edmonton

Great ambiance, great food, great beer. This Pub has been here for many years and has always been popular. It’s tucked away on Rice Howard Way and can easily be missed, but don’t miss it as is it is a great experience. I would recommend coming here for good food and drinks. The service was friendly and courteous. The restaurant is clean and tidy.

I enjoy a fun pub. I was digging the name and atmosphere, however it gets insanely packed and i didnt find the food to be amazing. They did have a few great local drink selection which i enjoyed but i would not return.

Service was quick, drinks were on point, and very well priced compared to whats in the area. Chicken strips were a little dry that's probably the only thing they could improve upon.

Great venue, great team. The heart of the downtown core.

Menu is good. Drinks are good. I'll come back again.

This pub is really fantastic, and in a very cool and unique spot surrounded by downtown but seems to be stuck in the past and not moving on with the times, surrounded by skyscrapers. The food is great, lots of beer on tap, and the service is always friendly! I love the patio here on a beautiful day.

Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Had the buffalo chicken wrap. Right amount of spice. Fries and gravy on the side were equally tasty.

Super authentic British pub. Bangers and mash were superb. Almost like going to jolly old London!

This place was awesome! It reminded me of the cute little pubs in London. The food was delicious and I plan on spending much more time on the patio in the near future. The fish and chips were lovely! I would definitely recommend!

The Sherlock Holmes is a place I hit up fairly often. It's a good, dependable haunt: not spectacular, but the service is always quick and efficient, the staff is friendly, and the food is consistently good.The pub itself is a little dingy, in a good way. You know, it's comfortable, not too bright, a touch dive-ish. I like it. You will too.

Awesome food would totally recommend the Gouda bacon Mac and cheese add bangers. The staff were friendly and it's a really cozy place.

This is unquestionably one of the tastiest place in the area. Always when I go there I am truly pleased. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of cooking they give. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Very recommended.

OMG..just got here..literally stumbled upon this place! If you like the UK/Irish pub environment, this is the place for you. Just gor here and already LOVE it!!!

What a great place to come with friends at the end of a long day of work! It looks unique amongst the skyscrapers downtown and certainly lives up to the unique look on the outside when you sit down on their expansive patio. It is a more relaxed and casual atmosphere here than across the street street at Craft. The variety of drinks and food is great. We had already eaten dinner elsewhere before coming here but still enjoyed some great nachos that had cheese and toppings throughout the chips, not just on the top chips. The waitress was really on top of everything and friendly too. After the sun sets the lights come on and the ambience is even better.It would be a pleasure to come back again and hopefully try the Shepard's Pie.Friendly, warm and casual here. Like being at home.

Old style pub. When in North America it's a great break from the regular bar. Food is awesome.

Portion sizes were pretty decent and the flavors were not boring. Pretty standard pub food menu nothing too crazy or unexpected. Saw lots of people having the fish and chips so mental note for next time to try that dish.Service: Service was good to begin with when there wasn't a lot of people. Once more people came in service deteriorated quite quickly as I don't think our server was used to handling so many tables at once. We ended up being left alone for a really long time and having to rush to leave as it was lunch time when we came.Atmosphere: Pub style, very lively and energetic. The wood theme is also nice to give it that older pub give.

Went here for supper on a whim and was not disappointed! I ordered the meatloaf and I kid you not, it was the best meatloaf I've ever had. Perfectly flavoured. My mom had the mac and cheese and it was equally as tasty! Will definitely be coming back!

Great food and helpful staff. Crowded, but more cosey than uncomfortable. Will go back.

This is an amazing little pub. The service is fast and friendly with just the right amount of attention. The beer selection is fantastic, a great mix of local, premium, and imported brews guaranteed to satisfy any pallet. The best though is the food. Rich English pub food cooked to perfection. You will never regret a trip to Sherlock's, but come early, the place fills up quick.

Wonderful cosy little British style pub/restaurant in the heart of downtown Edmonton. I ordered a salad and it was more than enough for a filling meal. The server suggested a great beer to pair with the salad. Will definitely return!

This site is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. Whenever I feel like having a good lunchon, this is the place that comes straightaway to my head. excellent and diverse food and a large list of dishes.professional staff members, and pleasant vibes. In addition to that, the cost is fair. I praise this place with no hesitation.

Can you think of a better place to spend time having a beer, fish and chips and think you are back in Merry olde England, especially when there's a rain storm. Great service and a wonderful local pub ambience.

I meet friends in this restaurant a lot! This is my favorite spot to eat. I visit this place many times. The meals are of high quality, the team is helpful and the rates are fair. I like being in this spot to have a tasty supper.

Quick, good food in a great pub atmosphere. Nice place with lots of charm and a fun vibe. Great wings compared to alot of place, quick and friendly service and some good food and drink specials. Lots of tvs and monitors to watch sports on and when the place fills up there is lots of energy! Bit hidden to get to but worth a trip down with a few friends for a pint or two.

Good service, good selection, and we were very well entertained by a couple of really good musicians.

Went a long time ago and really enjoyed it. Started going to the WEM location. Was in the area so I was able to visit once again. And like before they did not disappoint, even hit them up twice in the same day. Great food, friendly staff, can be hard to get parking with a truck though. There is underground parking across the street, but it was fairly low on height clearance.

Went on a Thursday around 6pm place was busy , but not overwhelming. Super cozy atmosphere, the best part is, What came on my plate when I ordered the *jack the ripper burger .this thing was huge and HANDS down best burger I've ever had. With just a bit more sauce this thing would of had me in heaven. But even light on the sauce, kick-a** burger. Spinach dip was also killer. Highly recommend, check this place out

Seems like a run of the mill pub albeit with a cool exterior, but the pizza is 10/10. Highly recommend it!

Happy hour is my favorite time to drink a pint of Guinness and awesome fish tacos!

Great little pub, lots of drink and food selections with quality prices

Nice location, service was ok, loved the ambience, food can be better. I ordered fish and chips, the fish pieces seemed to be a bit small and it was a bit dry too. Nothing major but that was my observation. The server didn't ask or refilled my glass of water but those having beer definitely got the better treatment. Wonder why it was named Sherlock Holmes! Should have asked somebody when I was there.

Loved the atmosphere. Waitress was not very friendly tho. We were social distancing and she made us sit as one at one table? We felt like we were a burden to order drinks. Musta been the end of her shift.

Second time being here, as my first time was amazing! Greeted right away, and amazing food off the bat, the casual atmosphere is really nice as the music isn't too loud, it's all fantastic. The reason for only three stars is the fact that the owner seems rude, as he didn't answer a phone call because they didn't know his name... Optics make a difference. I wont be supporting a business that has terrible leadership. Edit: 4 Star, thanks for follow up.

It was very busy night yesterday although there was only one server in upstair who was struggling to take all the orders and serving it. Food was amazingly quick but they would need more server to provide better service. There was a lot of cab just outside so I wouldn’t bother to call uber. Food n drinks was okay but service wasn’t 5/5! We enjoyed hanging out there.

This was a cool place to go to lunch. The decor is fantastic for a British pub. I got the day special drink and the grilled steak wrap. The wrap was huge and very well put together. There was a little bit too much dressing but it had plenty of veggies and steak.
